eView+ Additional Features
Here are some of the additional features that you would enjoy with eView+ in addition to those outlined on the main eView+ page.
In Depth Searching and Pick Lists
The search fields are customized to each department or companies search criteria, this allows users to quickly find the documents they are looking for. In addition to the basic keyword search, the system can search on any fields if indexing attached to each document, this could include for example: file type, creation dates, categories and more and can be structured within pick lists.
Batch Import Tool
ADEC has extensive experience in importing data from over 65 document management solutions; with a multitude of tools we are able to import all of your existing documents and indexing or associated meta data.
Multiple Document Types
eView+ supports multiple documents types such as TIFF, PDF, JPEG, MS Office, Lotus Notes, web links etc. More specific document types like DWG in AutoCAD are supported, as long as the user has the associated program to view the image stored.
Document Security and Filters
eView+ allows document security to be set right down to document level, this allows you to create up to 100 security. When a user account is created, they can be given access to the levels of documents they are allowed to view or can be set to only see documents which have been filtered for their viewing.
Content Search
In addition to being able to search for the set search criteria against each document, users can also search the contents of Microsoft Office and PDF files. All documents are catalogued for easy searching allowing to user to use a specific word or string search within the actual content of the document.
Desktop Upload Tool
Efficient uploading is obtained with the desktop upload too, users can install a tool that floats on the desktop. This allows the user to choose the cabinet or area that they wish to save the document and then simply drag and drop documents directly onto the tool which will immediately upload the document into eView+.
User Workflow
Customised workflow can be created per department or user, this allows the user to request that certain documents are segregated into the workflow for processing or multiple authorization etc.
User Permissions
This option is available via support or can be created for an internal administrator. The manage users option allows accounts to be created with several levels of security, access and types of access to document. This includes the ability to restrict printing and saving of documents as well as the creation of user groups and filters.
Email Upload Tool
The email upload tool utilizes the floating desktop upload tool allowing you to simply either drag and drop the email you wish to upload or just the attachment. Both the content of the email and the attachment can then be stored separately if wished.
Thumbnail View
In addition to the viewing of multiple document types, eView+ has a thumbnail view on all document types, this not only allows you to see documents that you do not have the associated program to view but also allows you to choose the exact page you wish to see.
